United Grinds Coffee June 2022 donation

We’ve awarded our June 2022 donation to Covenant house of Chicago. Their core belief is that no young person deserves to be homeless. Covenant House further believes that every young person in Illinois deserves shelter, food, clothing, education and most importantly, opportunity. United Grinds has pledged continued support to the Covenant House youth shelter program. We want to share the most amazing craft coffee on the market & help those in need. Our mission and core beliefs intersect with Covenant house of Chicago, so we sponsored Memorial day dinner for the teens at the shelter. Thank you to Offset Barbecue for catering.
The founder of United Grinds said, “It always feels good to give back to the community from which you’ve come”. Lorenzo came from humble beginnings himself therefore he knows firsthand how challenging life can be without a good support system. Lorenzo Spearman was raised in a single parent household with 6 other siblings on the far south side of Chicago. He believes it’s our reasonable service as humans to help those in need. To treat strangers like friends and neighbors like family. United Grinds donates a portion of each sale to support those impacted by homelessness in the Chicago area. Our coffee company wants to help those in need therefore we’ve awarded our June 2022 donation to Covenant house of Chicago whose core belief is that no young person deserves to be homeles
